Hello,
I'm Jewel!
It's great to meet you!
I've been in love with the world of digital art ever since I could first pick up a pencil or access a computer. One thing to know about me is that I bring that same love into everything I do in life. In my portfolio you will discover work that is colorful, cohesive and even experimental. I always test my limits and make efforts to try new things. If I am asking something from you, you're getting something from me in return: open-mindedness, steady improvement, and results!
Born in 2003, I grew up in Derby, Kansas. Upon graduating from Derby High School in 2022 and taking design classes through Butler Community College, I attended McPherson College just an hour north. When I graduate in May I will have a B.A. in Graphic Design with a Photography emphasis, including minors in both Communication and Storytelling. My extended portfolio features graphic design, logo design, conceptual brands, advertisement work, photography, layout, video-editing, and animation.
As a person, I consider myself to be free-spirited, energetic, carefree and driven. I exhibit these qualities in the best way. Whether it's at my college or local Pokemon communities, the workplace, or even Pokemon Regional events, I put these parts of myself on full display. I always seek to tackle new opportunities and experiences by putting my best foot forward.
My love for Pokémon has had a huge impact on who I am today. It has always been my inspiration for becoming a better graphic designer and better person. Growing up, Pokémon has always been my #1 outlet for expressing myself in healthy ways and building strong relationships with those around me. Like the trainers in the world of Pokémon, what I seek in life is to make my dreams come true and help others be the very best versions of themselves.
